Frequently asked questions
Short answers about plans, reminders, bookings and the protection of your data.
Plans and getting started
Yes. The free plan does not require a card – sign up and start right away with a ready-made template.
Automations keep running, but no notifications are sent until you top up your credits. Every attempt that was not sent shows in the notification history. You can buy extra SMS and e-mail credits at any time under “Plan and payments” – without changing your plan, and unused credits stay in your account.
Yes, you can upgrade at any time. Your data, bases and automations are kept.
Create a base (or choose a template) and add the records. In the plans with “Data import” you can upload a CSV or XLSX file from Excel yourself – the columns are matched to the fields of the base, and dates, phones and amounts are recognised automatically. With the Setup service our team will do the import and settings for you.
Reminders and team
You set the time window of every automation (e.g. from 9 am to 8 pm), so your customers will not get messages at night.
Yes. Invite colleagues to the workspace with the role “Owner”, “Contributor” or “View only”.
Bookings and calendars
Yes. Add an “Appointment booking” field to your base and turn on the public form – you get a link to share on your website, social networks or in a message. Customers pick a free day and time themselves. You set working hours for each day of the week, the appointment length, how many customers can book the same slot, days off, minimum notice and how many days ahead bookings are allowed. Booked slots cannot be booked again. The customer gets an e-mail confirmation (if the form has an e-mail field), you get a notification about the new booking, and with an automation you can send them an SMS reminder before the appointment.
Yes. Every base with a date or a booking field can be shown as a calendar. Create a calendar link and add it with one click to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar (iPhone, Mac) or Outlook – the calendar updates by itself. You can also connect your Google calendar directly: every new booking or change appears there within a minute. Every staff member can get a calendar with only their own appointments, and the customer receives the booking as a calendar invite in the confirmation e-mail.
Data protection (GDPR)
Yes. For the data of your customers you are the controller and notify.bg (Plumtex EOOD) is the processor. The data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is part of the Terms of use and applies from your registration.
Usually not. A reminder about an existing contract – an expiring policy, an instalment, an appointment – is normally sent on the basis of the contract or your legitimate interest, not on consent. Mention the reminders in your privacy notice and stop them for anyone who asks. Advertising messages about new products need consent or another ground allowed for marketing. This is general information, not legal advice.
On dedicated servers in Germany (EU). The connection is encrypted (HTTPS), only the members of your workspace have access, with the roles you give them, and every change of a record is logged. The data is used only to send your messages and is shared only with the providers that deliver them.
In the highest plan you can turn on data encryption in the workspace settings: the names, phones, e-mails, notes and links in all records are stored encrypted with AES-256. You and your team work with them as usual, while a leaked database or backup stays unreadable – a strong technical measure for the GDPR.
Export every base to CSV (opens in Excel) at any time. Then delete the workspace from its Settings – all bases, records and automations are deleted permanently. If you can no longer export, write to us and we will send you the file.
